Does anyone want to tell me why all the ladies semi-dressed, at that are on Asgard's side?
Also, whatever else this day (days? It's not over) does to me, I am not going to start speaking like a pirate. Dont even understand why it's effected affected effected written words, though.
You know, I kinda wish that the technology wasnt on the ship with us, because seriusly? Water and technology dont mix. I will be so pissed off if my laptop ends up broke because this ship has shitty construk construction. Or people are morons with drink.
((ooc: Shinji's handwriting and spelling are appalling, by the way (he relies on spellcheck a lot xD). I wondered whether they would have technology on the ships, and apparently they do, but Shinji's the type of kid that would be so pissed off if [his laptop] got wet and broke, so he's hand writing it. He's put his laptop somewhere where he hopes it will stay dry since he doesn't particularly trust how well the ship's been built, nor how careful any of Niflheim are with rum and other drinks. And no, he won't mention where he's put it.))

This, I can cope with, even if the clothing change is annoying. At least they fit, which is a plus, I guess. Although the... Nevermind.
Well, it's annoying, but I can live with it. Better than the other day, for sure. But geez, seriously. Pirates? 倭寇？ Is that even the right characters? I wish I was better at kanji. Can't believe I'm stuck with being a goddamn cabin boy, though. Seriously. I deserve something better than that.
I don't actually know anything about Japanese pirates. Did we even have them? We kinda sucked at sailing, so...

This would be Shinji's strongest memory/memories. I wrote it out ike this because... I thought it suited it slightly better? I hope it's not a problem. Once he realises that memories are being projected, he is going to be out of Niflheim, strange screams be damned.
There is some swearing below the cut. And violence, but it's not particularly (or really at all) graphic.
OH! It just occurred to me, that unless your character understands Japanese, they wouldn't know anything that was said in the memory, since all of it would have been in Japanese.
( He hadn't been able to believe it, and the thoughts once again echoed around his mind. The numb sense of disbelief at his complete and utter failure to hit his specified target. He remembered how he'd thought it ridiculous that he of all people should miss. Hell, he was Shinji Mimura, fucking star of the basketball team, Third Man. Never missed a shot. Well, till now, huh? He'd missed then. First time for everything. Shame that wasn't a first time he'd wanted to experience. )
Another strong memory would also be this. Please remember the movie does take a slightly different route to the novel (the teacher, for example).
Otherwise, there would be memories of the girls he slept with, and his distaste for relationships otherwise.
Also, his younger sister, Ikumi. Several memories of her during several of her birthdays, and entering middle school.
I'm going to be out most of the day, so I'll get to posting when I'm back home.

So, like, it's been established that there's some really goddamn creepy screams coming from somewhere that both Asgard and Niflheim can hear them. Clearly. The hell would that place be? And what would be capable of making such a noise. Besides, apparently, children of Jazz's race.
I mean, it sounds like it's in pain, but if it's in pain, then... something would have had to have happened to it. There's also the fact that chances are, it's going to be quite large for the sound to carry, which means with all the exploration both sides have done, how come no-one's come across something capable of making this sound? Unless someone has and they're keeping quiet about it (but for what purpose? What would the POINT of having something scream and disrupt both sides?)
Guess it could just be another test, or part of one of those days (...periods would be the more accurate word here, wouldn't it?) that are seriously messed up.
On a side note, the talk of giant chickens and cooking has made me really want a decent dish of okonomiyaki. Not that it's going to be possible to make a decent dish here ε- (￣､￣A) ﾌｩｰ
